Off the coast of Maine are a handful of islands pivotal to the survival of some of the rarest (and cutest) seabirds in the country.

Although the islands are protected as a National Wildlife Refuge, the pivotal field work that keeps the nesting birds alive was in danger of losing funding.

We came aboard to help increase awareness and fundraising for the Friends of Maine Coastal Islands National Wildlife Refuge, a nonprofit who stepped up to support the field scientists and of course, the birds.

Our team spent a week on the remote islands, working closely with the field researchers who live with the nesting birds.

The final photo and video materials were implemented as presentation materials at the Visitor Center was well as in social, web, print and in-person fundraising events.
